Cancellation of bookings for Elephant Moments services will only be accepted up to 16h00 the afternoon prior to the booking. 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made after this time. 100% cancellation fee will be charged for a ‘no show’.
Additions or amendments to a confirmed booking will only be accepted if possible and only up to 17h00 the afternoon prior to the booking.
The charge would be for the number of people that booked for the activity.
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for late arrivals that are unable to participate
Management reserves the right to cancel an activity at any time should it become necessary due to security and/or safety risk, or if weather conditions do not allow interaction to continue, or if it is felt that the wellbeing of the animals or the safety of the guests is being jeopardized. In this case full refunds will be applicable.
No children under the age of 6 will be permitted to join the Elephant Moments activities
No person will be allowed to participate in an Elephant Moments activity without having signed the necessary indemnity documents.
Visitors needs to arrive 06:00am and self-drive through the KAPAMA GAME RESERVE MAIN GATE on the R40 between Hoedspruit and Klaserie. Visitors can follow the Elephant sanctuary road signs to the elephant experience. It is a gravel road through the reserve and travelling time is approximately 20 minutes. Elephant experience starts at 06:30.
As we are dealing with animals in a wild environment, programs, availability and confirmations are all subject to factors which are beyond our control.
